Your questions

Clear answers so you can move forward with confidence.

Does Dr Tber offer cardiology consultations?
Yes, the consultation runs exactly as it would with a cardiologist. His training as a cardiovascular surgeon adds one advantage: he can also tell what does not call for surgery, and saves you a step when an operation is being considered.
What is the cost of the consultation?
The cost is given to you when you book the appointment, before your visit. The consultation lasts 30 to 45 minutes and requires no hospital stay or anaesthesia.
Can I come for a second opinion?
Yes, and this is a sound approach, especially before heart surgery. Bring your reports and test results; you will receive a clear, honest and independent opinion, so you can decide with confidence.
What should I bring?
If you have them: a recent blood test, ECG, cardiac ultrasound, coronary angiogram, reports, and a list of your medications. If you have none of this, come anyway: we will complete the assessment if needed.
Do you need a letter from the attending doctor?
No, it is not required. It helps to understand your history, but you can consult directly.
Do you only see patients from Tangier?
No. The practice sees patients from Tetouan, Larache, Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen and the whole of northern Morocco. Just one trip to plan, with a return the same day.
What if it's urgent?
Cardiovascular emergencies are cared for 24/7: call +212 661 942 375, even late. In case of severe chest pain, sudden breathlessness, faintness or loss of consciousness, contact emergency services immediately or go to the nearest emergency department.
